该片的插曲Unchained Melody旋律优美，曲词感人，百听不厌。
女主角狄美摩亚(Demi Moore)演了该片后成为九十年代最红的女星。
女配角胡比高拔(Whoopi Goldberg)凭该片获奥斯卡金像奖。这位黑人金像女星还担任本届奥斯卡颁奖典礼的大会司仪呢。
片中男主角与女主角分别在开场不久和散场前说了一个字--Ditto。很有趣，也很感人，我们今天就谈一谈其释义与用法。
男主角：It seems like whenever anything good in my life happens, I'm just afraid that I'm going to lose it.（情形似乎是，凡我生命中有什么美好的事情发生，我都害怕会失去它。）
这段话埋下了他遇害的伏笔。女主角于是安慰他。
女主角：I love you. I really love you.（我爱你，我真的爱你。）
男主角：Ditto（我也一样。）
影片结尾时，男主角的鬼魂将离开阳间，于是对女主角说：I've always loved you。狄美摩亚回答：Ditto。场面哀伤，教人感动。
Ditto不是只可用在示爱的场合。比方你的外国朋友说肚子饿了、口渴，你要说"我也一样"，自然可以说：Ditto。

The Blind Date
After being with her all evening, the man couldn't take another minute with his blind date. Earlier, he had secretly arranged to have a friend call him to the phone so he would have an excuse to leave if something like this happened.
When he returned to the table, he lowered his eyes, put on a grim expression and said, "I have some bad news. My grandfather just died." "Thank God," his date replied. "If yours hadn't, mine would have had to."
