Welcome to Shengping Youth English Salon
Under the guidance of the Shengping Youth Union, Shengping Youth English Salon is the organization by the English learners and for the English learners. Creating the English-speaking atmosphere, the Salon aims to arouse
the interest of the English learners in using and speaking English, and help to improve their English proficiency, preparing them for the competition after China’s access to the WTO.
The Salon is held in the Merriment Coffee Square, which is reputed for its French style coffee, excellent service and elegant environment. The activities of the Salon include English
discussions, speeches, lectures, contests, outdoor activities and so on. Those who actively participate in the contest will be rewarded. The Salon will invite the foreign friends to give some lectures on culture, customs current events, focusing on helping the participants to improve the listening and speaking ability as well as the communicating skills. It will also hold some outdoor activities and get-together parties to enhance the
practice of environmental English, and help to strengthen the friendship among the members as well.
The Salon practises the membership system. All English learners are welcomed to take part in all the activities, unrestricted by the education or social background. Your comment will be
